As an avid traveller and walker I gain inspiration from the world around us. My practice takes the form of drawing. I also use photography and writing to document the things I encounter, while exploring.
Being in awe of nature and the formations that lie in natural landscapes drives me on in my work. Through drawing and thus observing nature I hope to transfer the experiences I have in these places to the viewer.
The simplicity of the black and white drawings on white paper places emphasis on the detail of the rocks, the mountains, the trees etc. while giving some sense of scale. The mighty mountains help to put your own life in perspective as they dominant us humans, with their presence and reveal the intricacy and power of mother nature.
My drawings and photos are from the last few years while I have been travelling or working on the road.
